Plants Etc. is run by Fiona Mackenzie, a Highland-based gardener with over 30 years of horticultural experience. Fiona trained at Capel Manor Horticultural College in Enfield before going on to manage parks and green spaces throughout London.

After moving to the Highlands, Fiona worked in private gardens and provided horticultural training for the Highland Council. Since 2003, Fiona has been Head Gardener to 2.5 acres of formal and informal gardens on the outskirts of Inverness. The space comprises of herbaceous beds, rhododendron displays, mixed shrub borders, ponds, rockery, and streamside and woodland planting. The garden is a member of Scotland’s Gardens Scheme and features in Scotland for Gardeners by Kenneth Cox.
