When you contact Plants Etc with an order or query, we collect the personal data you give us – such as your name and email address – as part of the process. This applies to all means of contact – through our contact form, via email or by any other means. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.
How do we store, use, share and disclose information?
All electronically documented Personal Information generated by us for the purposes stated above, such as order forms, invoices and contracts, is stored securely on password protected devices. Invoices and receipts will be kept for a minimum of 7 years for tax purposes, however all other documents, emails and messages will be deleted after a period of 3 years.
Our website is hosted on the WordPress platform. WordPress provides us with the online platform which allows us to publicise our products and services to you and allows you to contact us. Your data may be stored through our WordPress hosting provider data storage, databases and the contact form plugin and associated management account for that plugin. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

If you choose to contact us through Facebook or Facebook Messenger, all messages will be deleted after a period of 3 years. If it is necessary to provide your details to a 3rd party to ensue completion of a service, then we will do so.
Your Personal Information details will not be shared with third parties other than those stated above, unless there is a Legal Obligation (where there is statutory or other legal requirement to share the information e.g. when we must share your information for law enforcement purposes).
Plants Etc will take photographs of any commissions. These will be used on (and not limited to) our website, social media, promotional material and portfolio.
How do we communicate with our site visitors?
During the process of providing our services to you, we will contact you via email or by Facebook Messenger to discuss the requirements for your order, or to respond to your query.
