Tradescantia pallida ‘Purple Passion’ / Spiderwort
This Spiderwort has the most wonderful long strap like dark green leaves with purple undersides. Needs lots of bright light to keep the colour. More upright than other Spiderworts it is vigorous, and will form a fabulous large plant. Super easy to care for!

How to care for your Tradescantia
LIGHT: Bright indirect light. Some early morning and/or evening sun is fine, but avoid strong direct sun. Requires good light to develop colour.
WATERING: Water thoroughly then allow top 1- 2” to dry out before watering again. Avoid waterlogging.
HUMIDITY: Easy-going. Will be happy in most rooms in the home.
TEMPERATURE: Enjoys warmth of 15-28°C. Avoid draughts.
FEEDING: Use liquid houseplant feed as instructed on the bottle during spring and summer. Feed less in autumn and winter – and only if plants continue to actively grow.
GROWTH: Average to fast growth rate. Can reach 25cm height x 45cm length.
TOXICITY: Toxic if ingested.
OTHER: Regular pinching of growth points will encourage bushiness.
