How to care for your Stromanthe
LIGHT: Medium to bright indirect light. Some early morning and/or evening sun is fine, but avoid strong direct sun.
WATERING: Likes to be slightly moist at all times. Avoid waterlogging but also do not allow to dry out completely.
HUMIDITY: : Easy going. Happy in average home environments, but also enjoys humidity so can be put into any room including a bathroom.
TEMPERATURE: Enjoys warmth of 15-30°C. Avoid draughts.
FEEDING: Use liquid houseplant feed as instructed on the bottle during spring and summer. Feed less in autumn and winter – and only if plants continue to actively grow.
GROWTH: Moderate growth rate. Can reach up to 60cm in height.
TOXICITY: Safe for pets and people.
OTHER: Use a soft damp cloth to clean leaves or give plant an occasional gentle tepid spray down to remove dust.
