Philodendron scandens ‘Brasil’
A variegated form of the Sweetheart Plant. Its yellow and green heart shaped leaves look great in a hanging basket or supported to climb. As with most Philodendrons, this is tolerant of a wide range of environments and is great for beginners. Air purifying and very easy care.

How to care for your Philodendron
LIGHT: Medium to bright indirect light. Some early morning and/or evening sun is fine, but avoid strong direct sun. Will tolerate lower light conditions.
WATERING: Water thoroughly then allow top 1-2” to dry out before watering again. Avoid waterlogging.
HUMIDITY: Easy-going. Happy in average home environments but also enjoys humidity, so it can be put into any room including a bathroom.
TEMPERATURE: Enjoys warmth of 16-30°C. Avoid draughts.
FEEDING: Liquid houseplant feed as instructed on bottle during spring and summer. Feed less in autumn and winter – and only if plants continue to actively grow.
GROWTH: Average growth rate. Can exceed 2m in length.
TOXICITY: Toxic if ingested.
PRUNING: Prune to restrict growth if required.
OTHER: Allow to trail or support with moss pole, stakes or trellis.
