How to care for your Oxalis
LIGHT: Medium to bright indirect light, some early morning and/or evening sun is fine but avoid strong direct sun.
WATERING: Water thoroughly then allow top 1-2” to dry out before watering again. Avoid waterlogging.
HUMIDITY: Easy-going, will be happy in most rooms in the home.
TEMPERATURE: Tolerates lower temperatures than many houseplants plants, 10-22°C. Avoid draughts.
FEEDING: Liquid houseplant feed once or twice a month during spring and summer. In autumn and winter feed less and only if plants continue to actively grow.
GROWTH: Medium growth rate. Can exceed 12” in height. Grows as wide as the pot will allow.
TOXICITY: Toxic if ingested.
OTHER: Oxalis may hibernate if conditions are poor (too cold, too dark, too dry). This means all the top growth will die off but plant will regrow once conditions improve.
