How to care for your Gasteria
LIGHT: Medium to bright indirect light. Can tolerate some direct sun in the mornings and evenings but avoid harsh midday sunlight. Can tolerate some shade.
WATERING: Water thoroughly then allow to dry out almost completely before watering again. Avoid waterlogging. Water less in winter.
HUMIDITY: Easy-going but enjoys good ventilation.
TEMPERATURE: Easy-going. 7-28°C.
FEEDING: Requires a weak feed (liquid houseplant feed) twice a year: once in spring and once in summer.
GROWTH: Slow growth rate. Can reach up to 10cm in height.
TOXICITY: Safe for pets and people.
