How to care for your Birds Nest Fern
LIGHT: Medium to bright indirect light. Some early morning and/or evening sun is fine, but avoid strong direct sun. Will tolerate lower light conditions.
WATERING: Likes to be slightly moist at all times. Avoid waterlogging but do not allow to dry out completely. This pot must be watered from the top as the drainage layer in the pot may impede water uptake from the bottom.
HUMIDITY: Easy going. Happy in average home environments, but also enjoys humidity so can be put into any room including a bathroom.
TEMPERATURE: Enjoys warmth of 13-28°C. Avoid draughts.
FEEDING: Use liquid houseplant feed once or twice a month during spring and summer. Feed less in autumn and winter – and only if plants continue to actively grow.
GROWTH: Upright. Medium growth rate. Can reach 45cm in height and width.
TOXICITY: Safe for pets and people.
