Tillandsia baileyi / Air Plant
Air Plants need no soil and little attention. Be creative and mount them on wood, metal, stone etc. Stunning shapes, unusual colours, and they often flower! Once flowered they will produce a pup, increasing your stock.

LIGHT: Happiest in bright indirect light. Can tolerate some shade.
WATERING: Soak the whole plant in tepid water for 15-20 minutes once a week in spring/summer, less in winter. Shake off excess water off or sit the plant upside down to allow excess water to drain before returning to position. Use rainwater if you live in a hard water area.
HUMIDITY: Easy-going but does prefer humidity. Place in a humid spot or mist regularly.
TEMPERATURE: Enjoys warmth of 13-28°C. Avoid draughts.
FEEDING: Add a small amount of Orchid or Bromeliad fertilizer to the water you soak them in. Feed once a month in spring and summer only.
GROWTH: Slow rate of growth.
TOXICITY: Not toxic to pets or people.
